Professional Online Video Production

June 8, 2010 by LeighM No Comments »

The decision to hire a professional videographer for your online video versus self-producing often comes down to resources, including time, budget and your current marketing philosophy.

The advantage to hiring a professional is that you do not have to be concerned with the details. This may be an attractive option, especially if you have hired someone who has worked on videos for other firms and have produced impressive results. As an attorney, you‘re often very busy, so you may not have time to take on such a large project yourself.

The downside to hiring a professional is the cost, which will vary depending on the location, equipment and if you work with an agency or independent contractor. The services offered will also vary, so ask questions related to quality, timing, what will be required of you, whether the spokesperson will receive preparation or media training and if distribution is part of the price.

Professionals may also be valuable in helping you determine your marketing philosophy and you message in the online marketplace. This depends on your specific needs and the expectations of your potential clients.
