The character was played by the late (great) Phil Hartman on Saturday Night Live from 1991-1996. Both a criminal defense and a personal injury lawyer, Keyrock (the caveman lawyer) was kind of like Matlock meets the Geico cavemen – a well-dressed attorney who would argue (in an aw-shucks manner) that “he was just a caveman but… there is one thing I DO know…”: that his client was innocent or entitled to a big settlement.
