Fort Myers Immigration Lawyer’s Take on Residency

Immigration laws are complex, and the consequences of a wrong action can result in delays or denial. Overstaying a visa, non-compliance with United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) requirements, or prior criminal convictions can thwart attempts at immigration or result in deportation proceedings. This creates stress and frustration for immigrating families.

In this video are some important recommendations by Fort Myers immigration lawyer, Juliana Rojas, talking about the process of obtaining residency on her interview with the Spanish television program, Inmigracion Al Dia.

Mexican Drug Wars & Immigration Law

November 10, 2010 by Otis No Comments »

David Hartley is NOT the only one that has fallen victim of the Mexican drug wars.  The story of The Widow of Pirate Lake is about life of Tiffany Young’s life without love.  She wishes that one day on Falcon Lake, Mexico had just remained one bad day, but instead it has changed her entire life.

If the U.S. could take a step back to more clearly see maybe they would realize they are to blame and not just Mexico.  Although Mexico apologized and our country’s hearts goes out to Tiffany, none of us are really sorry at all because NO ONE is looking for David Hartley.  Whats more interesting to note is the U.S.’s involvement in Mexican drug wars.  In addition the the drug users in the U.S., a lot of the weapons used in the Mexican drug wars are coming from Texas.  Dallas immigration lawyers and international trade specialists are keen in stating that it isn’t the U.S’s fault, because ammunition is not regulated by Texas law.

It may be surprising to see that the Mexican drug war is not a result of Mexico but the U.S. as well but what is really the most shocking is that David Hartley is NOT the only case.  David Hartley is reported as the fifty-fourth citizen from our country to be killed in Mexico this year, and there are probably many more unreported. Dallas immigration attorneys, along with this video can provide shocking details of Mexican drug wars and U.S. involvement.

Immigration as told by Glenn Beck

August 5, 2010 by Otis No Comments »

Glenn Beck shares his version of illegal immigration in a couple of minutes with this cartoon, but according to www.dhs.gov 189,860 Legal permanent residents (LPRs) reside in the NY area.  LPRs are foreign nationals who have been granted the right to reside permanently in the United States. LPRs are often referred to simply as “immigrants,” but they are also known as “permanent resident aliens” and “green card holders.”  Although these people are here legally, they occasionally do run into issues with the law.  It’s worth knowing a deportation lawyer in NYC or NYC green card law firms that are familiar with immigration laws.
